MAKING UP
GENERAL - Use the same colour wool to sew up as has been used to knit the pieces. Sew the pieces on their reverse sides (inside out) so that when they are turned back the right way the seams are less conspicuous.
SHIRT - Sew both pieces of the shirt together, leaving the shoulder seams open. (If you are going to use a badge, number or stripe on your shirt then sew these on next). Place the shirt on the monkey and then sew up the shoulder seams.
SHORTS - Fold a piece in half, and then sew up seam as far as the crotch. Repeat with other piece. Put both pieces together and sew up front and back seams from crotch to waistband.
SOCKS AND SHOES - Using one piece only, turn, and sew up shoe and sock seams, leaving the cast on edge open. Repeat with other piece.
